Queer Resources for BIPoC
There are some organisations in Berlin that primarily cater to people with a migration background and Black, Indigenous and persons of color members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Casa Kuà
Casa Kuà is self-organised by trans* and non binary BIPoCs to make health more accessible to other trans*, inter*, non binary and queer people, and especially for those affected by racism, and to bring communities together, centring the needs and wishes of BIPoC trans* people.
LesMigras
LesMigras offers counselling to Lesbians, Bisexual women, Trans*, Inter*, Non-Binary and Queer people on a range of topics, including violence, discrimination, asylum and residence in a range of languages, as well as social, networking and educational opportunities.
GLADT
GLADT is an organization of black and PoC lesbians, gays, bisexuals, Trans*, Inter* and queers in Berlin. and is involved on different levels against racism, sexism, trans*- and homophobia, ableism, and other forms of discrimination. GLADT offers counseling and undertakes political projects.
MILES
MILES is a project of the Lesben– und Schwulenverband in Deutschland (Lesbian and Gay Association in Germany) and offers psychosocial and legal counselling as well as support for LGBTQIA+ refugees and people with migration backgrounds.
