How we respect privacy when we deal with personal information
This Privacy Policy tells you what personal information we collect and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect about:
people who contact us; and
people who use any services provided by Queer Mama, whether alone or in conjunction with other groups (“Services”).

Collecting information
When you contact us or use our services, we may collect the following information (if you provide it to us), and use it only as described below:
Contact Information. This may include your name, address, email address, phone number and other details you wish to share with us. We use this information in the ways you would expect, such as to record your details or contact you.
Third Party Account Information. If you contact us through a third-party service, such as social media or photo-sharing services ("Third Party Services"), you may provide us with your Third Party Services account information, such as your username. We transmit, and may store, such account information only as needed to communicate with you and to provide the Services, and only in accordance with the terms and policies of the Third Party Services.Communications With Us. When you send us emails or other communications, such as customer support inquiries, we retain those communications and their contents so that we can resolve your inquiries and otherwise assist you.
Files You Provide Us. If you provide us with additional content, such as your photos, and information related to your content, such as location tags in photos, we may process and store such files and information in order to provide the Services.
Sharing information
We may share your information only as described below:
Authorized Third Parties. We may share your personal information with third parties in order to provide the Services where you have given your permission to do so.
Following The Law. We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, protect our rights or prevent fraud or abuse of Queer Mama or its members. If we receive law enforcement or national security requests for information, we believe in privacy and transparency. Our policy is to scrutinize such requests carefully and challenge vague, over-broad or otherwise unlawful requests. And when legally permitted, we will provide our users with notice that their information is being requested, so that they have the opportunity to challenge such requests.
Others Working For Queer Mama. Queer Mama may use certain trusted third parties to help us provide, improve, promote and protect the provision of the Services. For example, we may use third parties to help us put on events, manage our site or assist with data storage. We would only share information with those third parties when and to the extent necessary. These third parties may access, process or store your information to perform tasks only for the purposes we’ve authorized, and we require them to provide at least the same level of protection for your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Storage of your information
We endeavor to host all information we hold about you within the European Union ('EU'). However, information that we collect about you may be transferred to and stored at, a destination outside the EU where this is reasonably necessary for us to continue delivering the Services. By submitting your data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, following which we will delete your data.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information sent to us. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access, but cannot absolutely guarantee the security of your information.
Editing and deleting your information
You have the right to ask for rectification and/or deletion of your information. You also have the right to object at any time, free of charge, to the processing of your information and you have right of access to your information. Modifications
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the most current version on our site. If a modification meaningfully reduces your rights, we'll notify you in accordance with the procedures set forth in our Platform Terms.
